[Performance Introduction] The 9th Arts in Tank Dance Festival in Korea (ADFK), held at the Seoul Culture Depot, is an international dance festival created by domestic and international artists and citizens together. Artists from 12 countries, including the United States, France, Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, China, and Japan, participate to showcase the trends of contemporary dance and experimental creations through performances, workshops, dance films, and international collaboration projects. From June 28 to July 3, a relay performance transcending genres and nationalities, international collaborations, citizen participation programs, dance experiences for children and youth, and a dance film festival will take place throughout the Tank spaces of the Culture Depot. In particular, through partnerships with eight overseas institutions, including France and the United States, the festival supports the overseas expansion of outstanding works and international exchange, while establishing a global dance platform structure that connects performance, video, and international collaboration. [PROGRAM] <Nothing Changes> 'Nothing Changes' focuses on resilience. No matter what happens around us, for some unknown reason, we do not give up but continue to move forward, constantly trying even if we are pushed back. We wander through life feeling that we are always searching for something, yet we do not know exactly what it is. Nevertheless, this quiet strength and resilience, which never give up, are solely for ourselves and do not need to be announced to the world. These two contrasting forces give us the courage to do our best to discover what we are seeking and to fully make it our own. <Following the Light and the Wind> Time tilts, and an invisible flow casts its shadow. Like the wind sweeping across the fields, it flows away, unable to linger. Amidst moments that cannot be grasped, I gaze at the sunlight shimmering through the swaying leaves. That light breaks and seeps in, and the subtle tremors spread. The vanishing moments remain like an afterglow, guiding me, and amidst scattering sensations, my body follows those traces, unable to stay put. <Swallowed Words> We swallow words dozens of times a day. Afraid of hurting others, afraid of incurring their hatred, or simply because we lack the courage. Words that could not cross our lips and never managed to come out. Moments when we swallowed words that didn't need to be swallowed. That stifling feeling lingers within us, growing heavier and heavier.
