Synopsis

[Performance Introduction] The original story of *The Seagull*, the first of the four major full-length plays by Anton Chekhov, the most famous writer to the public. [Synopsis] Treplev and Nina spend their days writing and creating plays on Sorin's estate, home to a large lake where seagulls fly. As they lead their ordinary lives, the arrival of Arkadina, a famous actress and Treplev's mother, and her lover, the renowned writer Trigorin, turns this once-ordinary place into something far from ordinary...
