[Performance Introduction] This is <Kong Kong Uri Jangdan>, the first Korean traditional music concert presented by Ogam Classic. This is a live Korean traditional music performance featuring various instruments such as the gayageum, percussion (janggu samulnori), daegeum (sogeum), and haegeum. It allows children to naturally experience traditional music by listening to our rhythms and feeling them with their bodies! The performers consist of musicians who graduated from (or are currently enrolled in) Bachelor's and Master's programs at Seoul National University and the Korea National University of Arts, as well as graduates from the National Gugak Middle and High School, delivering the resonance of our music with greater depth and beauty. For this performance, all musicians take the stage wearing beautiful Hanbok to vividly convey the elegance of our music and the beauty of tradition. We have prepared this as an interactive Korean traditional music concert that is easy and enjoyable to encounter at a child's eye level, rather than making Korean traditional music seem difficult and unfamiliar. After the performance, there will be an instrument experience session where children can touch and make sounds with the instruments themselves. Beyond simply seeing and hearing, this will be a special time to get closer to our instruments through direct experience. [Program] Frontier Arirang They Are All Flowers Taepyeongga Samulnori Beautiful Country, etc. [Recommended for] Families who want to give their child their first experience with Korean traditional music Parents who want to naturally introduce our sounds and rhythms Children who want to enjoy both the performance and instrument experience Children who want to experience the art of live sound, distinct from classical music Come to Ogam Classic with confidence; quality guaranteed!
