[Performance Introduction] We live in a world overflowing with everything. In this era of abundance, I wanted to present a performance that feels somewhat empty and lacking—even if it might seem a bit lacking, it is stripped away. In this age of sensory overload overflowing with dazzling brilliance, I wondered if there are any fundamental things we have forgotten or are missing. This performance began with the thought of "emptying" rather than "filling." All sounds within the performance are played using analog methods, excluding electronic sounds. We sought to capture the natural sounds exactly as they are, whether it is the traditional Korean music performance or the Orff acoustics played by the actors backstage. The density of sound and the information conveyed through sound expand the audience's imagination. The performance is finally complete the moment the story unfolded by the actors on stage merges with the audience's imagination. As this work minimizes visual elements and relies primarily on auditory senses, it has been planned and structured as a barrier-free performance that can be enjoyed by both able-bodied and visually impaired audiences. We hope this becomes a performance that can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of disability.
