[Performance Introduction] LOOP POINT Is isolation amidst loss due to forgetting the archetype of the object, or is it due to a lack of will to face it? An unorganized mind fuels anxiety, spreading until it eventually reaches a point where even time cannot cover it up. 'LOOP POINT' is a work that explores the roots of loss and anxiety by allowing them to dwell within the breath, while reflecting on the present through improvisational movement and performance. Dancer Kim Kang-min and sound performers Yoo Young-eun and Jang Min-kyu use modified oxygen masks as a medium to focus on breath—the source of action—and rediscover the origins of expression. Clues of expression found in breath, and clues of breath found in expression, soon call forth each other and begin to circulate. In that fleeting moment, as they transcend directionality and converge into a single energy, one comes face to face with the archetype of the being that brought about this isolation.
