[Program] White Dance <Yeonji> 'Yeonji' explores repressed human emotions and instincts through the body within a world quantified by numbers. What is normal, and what makes a human being truly human? Within a structure that attempts to convert even love, relationships, and desire into values, uncontrollable tremors and breaths are structured into movement and transformed into dance. Sexuality and raw dynamics collide and intersect, revealing the cracks and moments of liberation of bodies situated on the boundary. Moden Company, Thread and Iron: Strings of the Body <Thread and Iron: Strings of the Body> is a work that originated from the process of translating inspiration received from the resonance of the Geomungo and Cheolhyeongeum into movement. The waves of different physical properties created by the threads of the Geomungo and the iron of the Cheolhyeongeum overlap into a single resonance. The choreography applies the changes in speed and density generated during the collaboration of the two instruments to the body, aiming to embody the state of a 'string' where the body vibrates along with the sound. Milmul Contemporary Dance Company, *People Who Do Not Mix* The community is no longer a single mass, but becomes a collection of grains of sand that touch one another yet do not mix. Fragmented individuals form groups with similar others, creating yet another boundary. Relationships are constantly formed and scattered, while loneliness and conflict gradually accumulate. What can melt us and solidify us again? Am I truly a decent being within ‘us’?
