[Concert Introduction] Since its founding in 2018, Lin Trio is an ensemble centered on contemporary classical music that conveys social messages through performances that "the music of this era" can capture. This performance is the final stage of a three-year mid-to-long-term project that began in 2024, designed to contemplate the issues facing contemporary Korean society through music. Following themes of the environment and intergenerational conflict, this year's concert addresses the theme of demographic changes, such as low birth rates and an aging population. Held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the Sejong Center Chamber Hall with the support of the Arts Council Korea, Lin Trio's 8th Regular Concert, "Harmonizing Humanity Series III – Harmonizing Future," will take place in a Lecture-Performance format where a lecture, performance, and dialogue are organically connected, featuring Jeong Ik-joong, a member of the Presidential Committee on Low Birth Rate and Aging Society and a professor at Ewha Womans University. This performance aims to explore the possibilities of coexistence that we should pursue amidst a changing society through music and discourse.
