Synopsis

[Performance Introduction] A fusion of traditional Samulnori, artificial intelligence (AI), and media art! Reborn anew as a futuristic performance content! The ‘Media Art AI Convergence Samulnori’ project, jointly spearheaded by Artistic Director Lee Young-kwang and Director/Writer Moon Jeong-su, has been selected for the Chungju City Convergence Cultural Content Creation and Production Support Program, ‘Next Show,’ and will take the stage. This project was implemented with a total production budget of 100 million KRW, and aims to develop global performance content based on Samulnori, going beyond the mere reproduction of traditional performances. It recites the deep stories of human life flowing within the tangible and intangible heritage of Chungju, the City of Korean Traditional Music, through poetry, and conveys them through the essence of authentic Samulnori rhythms.
