[Concert Introduction] Musicians from Seongmo Elementary School, which has long served as a cradle for musicians alongside the history of music in Daejeon, are coming together in one place. This coming June, under the title "Homecoming Concert," musicians active across the country, including Daejeon and Seoul, will gather in their hometown of Daejeon. Approximately 30 musicians who have joined forces for this concert, held at the Daejeon Arts Center Art Hall, are continuing their distinct musical journeys in the Daejeon and Korean music scenes. Many talented performers will appear, including violinist Lim Kyung-won, a major pillar of the Daejeon string scene; pianist Noh Kyung-ah, known for her musical delicacy; violinists Yoo Si-yeon and Cho In-sang, who possess free spirits; baritone Cho Byung-joo, who has solid musicality and expressiveness; and cellists Yang Seon-won and Lee Sang-kyung, whose exceptional musical inspiration stands out. Featuring diverse instrumentations ranging from flute, piano, vocals, and trumpet ensembles to string quartets and chamber orchestras, this stage encompasses familiar repertoire spanning works from the Classical, Romantic, and 20th centuries. Tchaikovsky's *The Nutcracker* Flute Quartet conveys fairytale-like melodies with a clear tone, while Corigliano's *Gazebo Dances* showcases the charm of a lively piano duo with light rhythms. On the vocal stage, Donizetti's opera arias and Baritone Cho Byung-joo's original compositions add diverse musical colors. Saint-Saëns' rare Septet and Dvořák's *American* String Quartet present the depth and structural beauty of chamber music. The Flute Ensemble's *The Sound of Music* and Grieg's *Holberg Suites* convey both familiarity and classical dignity. Finally, the performance concludes with ‘Song of Friendship,’ a collaboration of vocal and chamber music, where distinct musical styles blend into a single resonance. It would be wonderful to witness a beautiful performance featuring a diverse and splendid repertoire. [Program] Flute Quartet / Lee Mi-sun, Kim Kyung-ah, Park Hyun-jung, Shim Jae-yeon P.
