[Performance Introduction] Shall we step into the heart of the ‘phenomenon’ within the worldview of ‹Killing Hierarchy›, presented by choreographer Kim Kwan-ji? Together with Kim Kwan-ji, who has explored the boundaries between ritual, play, and performance, you will physically engage with given situations and conditions, breaking away from familiar movements and roles to move in your own unique way. The phenomenon is already unfolding—experience the moment firsthand. [Reading Guide] This workshop is based on Kim Kwan-ji’s work, ‹Killing Hierarchy›. Here, you will not learn fixed movements but will react physically to the situations presented to you. As you move in ways that are comfortable for you, stepping away from familiar methods, the distinctions between people, inside and outside, and center and periphery will gradually blur. Feel this change for yourself. You can participate even without prior experience in movement.
