[Concert Introduction] Their Showcase: Returning with Their 2nd Full-Length Album After 4 Years! Following their 2022 debut album, *Endless, Endless, No Answer, No Answer*, Humapne has released their second album, *Three People*, four years later. Led by bassist Kang Sang-hoon, the group features drummer Lee Yu-jun and guitarist Yoon Seong-hee. The title *Three People* is less of a title and more of a unique declaration made by each member uniting their intentions. It is a single declaration that permeates the entire album. Rather than a perfectly organized structure, they sought to focus on the subtle results of their rhythms and their mutual chemistry. Humapne's music transcends a mere reproduction of genres, demonstrating the chemical fusion that occurs when Korean sentiment meets funk rhythms. Through clear grooves and humor, they have created music that sounds light but cannot be easily overlooked. While it still appears incredibly simple and playful on the surface, anyone who listens closely can immediately recognize its true essence. This music was by no means created lightly. While faithfully following the grammar of classic funk, the music infuses unfamiliarity and boldness throughout, revealing the "funking heart" of these three quite serious individuals. Three shy men simply played with their instruments, yet before we knew it, we were swaying our bodies to the rhythm. For the humor is always right, and the groove is genuine. As if a simmering, spicy funk feast were enough, this album—which combines life and rhythm without a single common love story—is, phew, spicy, spicy.
