Synopsis

[Synopsis] Bong-pil, the father-in-law, treats Man-bok like a servant, promising to arrange the wedding once his daughter grows up. He postpones the marriage with all sorts of excuses, and "I" naively comply with his demands, being dragged along by him. "Puppies and pigs grow so fast, but why do people take so long to grow?" Jeom-sun actively expresses her affection, but circumstances repeatedly go awry. Eventually, "I" realize the father-in-law's ulterior motives, and the conflict explodes. In this process, the characters' naivety and desires clash, revealing a uniquely Korean sense of humor and satire. Will Man-bok be able to marry Jeom-sun?
