[Concert Introduction] IEUMSYMPHONIKER is a professional performing arts organization founded in 2024, pursuing the value of connecting people with people, performers with audiences, and the local community with art through music. Creating a stage of communication and empathy that goes beyond mere performance, IEUMSYMPHONIKER sheds new light on Beethoven's masterpieces through this regular concert, "Singing of Freedom, the Emperor, and Destiny!" This concert is a stage that vividly demonstrates the will for freedom, majestic dignity, and the power of the human spirit to transcend fate contained in Beethoven's music. Conductor Jung Na-ra's meticulous yet sophisticated interpretation, pianist Lee Hyo-joo's exceptional skill, and the solid ensemble of IEUMSYMPHONIKER members will come together to deliver the essence of Beethoven's music in depth. The Overture to the opera *Fidelio*, which opens the performance, is a work embodying the will for freedom, salvation, truth, and justice, vividly revealing Beethoven's characteristic sublime ideals and dramatic tension. Following this, Piano Concerto No. 5, *Emperor*, represents the pinnacle of Beethoven's concertos, encompassing majestic scale, radiant dignity, and deep lyricism. Pianist Lee Hyo-ju is set to unfold the charm of this work—where the soloist and orchestra develop in tension and harmony—with both delicacy and power. After the intermission, Symphony No. 5, *Fate*, takes the stage. Beginning with a fateful motif, progressing through anguish and overcoming to finally triumph and ecstasy, this work is a masterpiece that most concisely captures the symbolic narrative of Beethoven's music. Its meticulous development, intense driving force, and a conclusion that seems to pierce through darkness toward the light powerfully convey the essential power of Beethoven's art. This regular concert, “Singing of Freedom, the Emperor, and Destiny!”, will not merely stop at performing three masterpieces, but will be a meaningful stage that shares the dignity of the human spirit and the sublime value of art with the audience.
