[Performance Introduction] Resonance Exploding at the End of Extinction Amidst the repetition of intense beats, the mask has long functioned as an interface for transforming identity. Drawing on Hermann Hesse’s *Siddhartha*—a work that contemplated, waited, and endured amidst the movement of erasing and rewriting names—we pose questions about the journey of enlightenment reaching our physical bodies. At the end of these questions, Cheonhajaeil Tal Gongjakso, who has questioned the contemporaneity of Talchum by traversing the boundaries of tradition, and the band baan, winner of the Heaviness category at the 23rd Korean Music Awards, push their rhythms against each other, raising the density of the senses. Eventually, the ancient structure of Talchum—which has covered faces, erased the individual, and synchronized the collective into a single rhythm—intersects with the ritualistic energy of metal. At the end where sound and body, rhythm and movement overlap, we will cross our respective rivers and finally face a single state.
