[Performance Introduction] A Combination of Real-Time Video Technology and Physical Movement Moments Approaching Limits “The trajectory of the body cuts through time, and technology awakens the traces of that moment through the senses.” Premiered in 2021, <PISTE> was an experiment that likened the human figures living fiercely in a competitive society to athletes in a fencing arena, exploring the shared dynamism between fencing and dance through choreography. Reborn through the fusion with video technology, <PISTE: Eighth Moment> is a work that captures the choreographer's personal experiences and perspectives, centering on the keyword "moment"—referring to a very brief period of time or past experiences. Using video technology, it portrays the lives of people living in fierce and harsh competition with more detailed and dynamic movements, inducing the audience to sense together the tension and energy as the body approaches its limits through various moments. *PISTE: A term referring to a fencing arena [PROGRAM] 1.
