Synopsis
[Performance Introduction] A Living Book: Don Quixote Unfolded as a Puppet Show The puppet show *Sancho and Don Quixote* tells the story of Sancho, who embarks on an adventure with Don Quixote. It is a reimagined work featuring Sancho as a child and the protagonist; while it differs from the original novel, it faithfully captures the original message that "Tomorrow's Don Quixote is Sancho." The puppet show *Sancho and Don Quixote* was produced so that even children who cannot yet read can experience it as if it were a living, moving book. In a strange and mysterious old bookstore, a different adventure awaits every time you open a book. The adventure awaiting today is the story of the knight Don Quixote. An ordinary boy who enters the bookstore is called "Sancho" and, led by Don Quixote, sets out on a quest to become an honorable knight. Events beyond imagination occur, such as fighting windmill giants and black-maned lions... Just then, a huge dragon appears before his eyes! What will happen to Sancho and Don Quixote when they come face-to-face with a dragon they can neither avoid nor defeat? [Synopsis] Lead the way, Sancho! Take out your trumpet and blow it!
