[Performance Introduction] Every Monday in 2026, Lee Chul-jin’s Seungmu story, *Only Seungmu*, unfolds at the Sungkyun Small Theater in Daehak-ro. Seungmu is a representative work of Korean traditional dance, possessing a sophisticated aesthetic that captures both the spirituality of Buddhist practice and the inner emotions of the human soul. The delicate lines drawn by the *jangsam* (monk’s robe), the restrained breath and rhythm, and the aesthetics of *jeongjungdong* (movement within stillness) create a world of deep contemplation and vitality that explodes within silence. This performance presents a Seungmu interpreted with depth by Lee Chul-jin, a dancer who carries on the authentic lineage extending from Han Seong-jun to Han Young-sook and Lee Ae-ju. Having walked a solitary path dedicated to Seungmu for decades, he fully unfolds the philosophy and the density of time inherent in the dance upon the stage. In every movement and every breath, the traces of accumulated practice and the inner strength of the artist are revealed in their entirety. **Performance Introduction** Running as an open run, *Only Seungmu* offers the audience a special time to confront their inner selves through the resonance of movement echoing in the silence.
