In 1968, Bamseom Island was forcibly evicted and blown up for development, submerging into the Han River. However, thanks to nature's resilience, sedimentation continued, transforming the island into a migratory bird sanctuary, and on June 21, 2012, it was designated as Seoul's only Ramsar Wetland. To commemorate this day, we are hosting the Bamseom Run. We aim for a "Life Marathon" of healing and recovery.
